Privacy Policy

Aftercardly ("we", "us") provides free browser-based generators for aftercare cards and consent forms at aftercardly.com. We designed it to collect as little data as possible. This page explains what little we do collect, and the third-party services involved.
What you type stays in your browser
The cards and forms you build โ your salon name, contact details, logo, instructions and any other content โ are processed entirely in your browser. They are not uploaded to our servers and we never see them. Downloads (PDF and image files) are generated locally on your device.
No account, no signup
Aftercardly does not require an account, an email address, or any registration to use the free tools.
Local storage
If you purchase a Pro upgrade, we store a small flag, your license key and a random device identifier in your browser's local storage so the unlock persists on your device. This data stays in your browser; you can clear it at any time via your browser settings (doing so will re-lock Pro until you re-enter your license key).
License verification
When you activate a Pro license key, the key and your random device identifier are sent to our server-side function, which verifies the key with our payment provider (Creem) and enforces the device-activation limit. We do not receive or store your payment card details at any point.
Payments
Paid upgrades are processed by Creem, our merchant of record. Your payment details are handled by Creem under their own privacy policy. We receive confirmation of the purchase and a license key, not your card information.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used (pages visited, buttons clicked, approximate location, device type, and session replays in Clarity). This helps us improve the tools. These services may set cookies or similar identifiers and process data under their own privacy policies: Google, Microsoft. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your data.
Third-party resources
Pages load fonts and open-source libraries from Google Fonts and cdnjs (Cloudflare). Your browser contacts those services to fetch the files, which discloses your IP address to them, as with any website resource.
Your rights
Because we don't hold accounts or the content you create, there is usually nothing for us to delete โ clearing your browser storage removes everything on your side. If you have any privacy question or request (including anything related to a purchase), email us and we'll help.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and its date. Significant changes will be noted on the homepage.
